NetProxy is distributed as "try before you buy" shareware. This allows you to install a fully working version on your network and evaluate its performance for 30 days prior to purchasing a licence. When the evaluation period expires NetProxy will continue to run in a 'single user' mode - allowing any one user on your network to access the Internet at a time. You can continue using NetProxy in this single-user mode indefinitely, completely free of charge!

To install NetProxy, download and run the file np403.exe. A full context-sensitive help system is provided with the distribution. After installing, select "Contents" from NetProxy's "Help" menu to display the help contents.

The download should take approximately 7 minutes with a 64Kbps ISDN connection, or 9 minutes with a 56Kbps modem connection.

Download NetProxy Authentication Client for Windows

This is a small stand-alone program that will run in the "system tray" area of a client machine. The program responds to authentication requests from a NetProxy server and prompts the user for his username/password as required.

Even without the Authentication Client installed, you can use the username/password authentication built into your web browser or SOCKS client to access the services of NetProxy. However, the NetProxy Authentication Client is required if you wish to provide username/password authentication for mapped ports, POP3 E-Mail, or RealPlayer content.
